Important Message for Incoming Fall 2009 Students

Scholarship and Research Integrity (SARI)

Beginning fall 2009 newly enrolled Community and Economic Development (CEDEV) Master of Professional Studies (MPS) students are required to complete a two-part SARI training program. The first part of the training is accessing online modules administered by the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI). The second part of the training has been incorporated into the CEDEV courses in the program.

The Scholarship and Research Integrity (SARI) program was designed to provide responsible conduct of research (RCR) education for Penn State master’s and doctoral students. The program is designed to include both interdisciplinary and program-specific RCR content. It utilizes a multilevel approach, incorporating both on-line and discussion-based training, and will be informative and engaging for all students, regardless of type of degree, program, or discipline. More information on the SARI program can be found here: http://www.research.psu.edu/orp/sari/index.asp.
